Clermont’s self-contained nature has created lots of shopping and residential areas, and the region has plenty of activities and outlets for residents of all ages. The most significant monument in the Clermont area, the Florida Citrus Tower, is one of the earliest landmarks in Florida, and the tower just turned 60 in 2016.
Clermont also has another major feature — its landscape. While most of Florida is known for its flat landscape, sometimes accented by gently rolling hills, Clermont has what most Floridians call “Florida Mountains”.
