Thanks to its “hilly” terrain, Clermont is also often referred to as the “Gem of the Hills”. As mentioned previously, Clermont is a very popular place for families to settle down and thrive. The median home value here is $264,200, and price value of homes have gone up 7.1% in the past year. Zillow predicts that it will rise again 4.1% in the next year.

The median price per square foot is about $137, which is lower than the Central Orlando area. If you are looking to purchase a house in the near future, the median price of homes currently listed in Clermont is around $300,000. If you aren’t looking to settle down and buy a home just yet, the average rent in Clermont is right around $1,700. This is about $200 more than the surrounding Central Florida area.
