Ben has lived in central Florida has been involved in the local real estate market since 1997 when he purchased his first rental home. Ben graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a Business degree with a minor as a professional pilot and an aircraft A & P mechanic. He started at TransMeridian airlines as a 757 Systems engineer and managed the John Kerry and John Edwards Presidential Campaign 757 charter program with TransMeridian Airlines.  From there he moved to NASA as an Engineer for launch operations on the Space Shuttle program.  While working he obtained his M.B.A. from the University of Miami as well as a Master’s in Industrial Engineering.

As the Shuttle program was nearing its end, Ben’s next step was with with Siemens as a Business consultant and a certified Project Manager (PMP). He worked with many business around the world to implement efficient and effective management systems.  In addition he was Siemens lead corporate trainer for the management systems auditing program and taught these classes all around the USA and Europe.

In addition to his corporate positions, Ben has also founded a 3 internet startup companies that sold a variety products, he founded a Real Estate Investment fund and raised the initial capital (Still ongoing),

Ben and Tommy have been business associates and friends since their first real estate transaction in 2004. In 2012 they decided to align their personal goals and become business partners at The Realty Medics. Through his diverse background he and his team have been able to build a solid Company foundation to ensure all of The Realty Medics stakeholder goals are being achieved.

Ben has purchased, rehabbed and currently manage many personal properties over the last 19 years.

Tommy Weclew grew up in Hollywood Florida and moved to Orlando Florida in 2001. He soon began buying houses with his Family, rehabbing, placing a qualified tenant and selling the property to investors looking to diversify their portfolio income. The business, The Realty Medics, grew mostly by word of mouth and has led to over 1000 happy buyers and listings sold.

“I decided to not become a huge brokerage with a bunch of agents and instead focus on our clients.”

In 2008 Tommy and The Realty Medics added a property management division.

“Our investors were looking for a property management company they could trust and kept their cash flow as the number one priority.”

The Realty Medics also added a Fannie Mae approved property rehab/repair company. The Realty Medics are able to offer their investors very affordable initial rehab costs with the added security of a one year warranty on all repairs.

“Our investors are able to start reaping the benefits of their investment quickly. In less than 30 days after purchasing a property we typically are able to rehab, secure a qualified tenant and start earning income for the investors.”

A few years ago, Tommy met with longtime friend Ben Sencenbaugh to discuss ways to grow the business while keeping the personal touch that Tommy’s clients appreciated. Tommy and Ben had very similar personal goals and they knew instantly that joining forces would be a perfect.

As of 2016 Tommy, Ben and their team are managing over 700 properties valued at over $100,000,000 and continue to grow each month.

The Realty Medics manage properties from Poinciana to Deltona.

Josh moved to Florida in 1995 and has been a resident of Orlando since 2005. He graduated from UCF with a degree in Business Administration.

Before joining with The Realty Medics, Josh was an executive for a large aerospace supplier based in southern California. He managed a sales office of more than $100 million in revenue and a staff of more than 20. Josh brings with him years of experience in leading teams, understanding growth and improving customer service.

Josh and Ben have been friends and business partners for almost 20 years. Over this time, they have founded multiple companies and have been very successful team in directing, managing and finally selling these businesses.

Josh is attending Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and is almost finished with his Master’s Degree in Business Management. He has been active in Florida Real Estate market buying his first investment home when he was 21.

Josh enjoys sporting events and spending time with his 3 boys (2 of them are twins) and wife.

Jason Hamilton is a Seattle native and graduate of Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA. He has a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. In his free time, Jason is the President of Orlando Rugby Club and the Operations Manager for Florida Youth Rugby. His rugby background includes playing for Kentwood RFC, Western Washington University, Chuckanut Bay RFC, Camelback RFC, Kinsale RFC (Ireland), and Dorking RFC (London).

Jason is a Realtor with the team focusing on Investor Sales and Leasing. Prior experience includes the aerospace industry and 15 years in the corporate arena. Jason also began a non-profit organization in Arizona back in 2008, as well being involved with both the Phoenix and Scottsdale Chambers of Commerce.

Justin has lived in Orlando Florida since 1991. Justin started working in the construction field while attending college in 2002. As he grew an interest in construction/architecture Justin was given the opportunity to work for a reputable architectural materials supplier. As his knowledge grew in the commercial industry he started to tap into the residential world buying, rehabbing, and selling homes with long time friend Tommy Weclew. With over 10 years of experience in the Home Building & Remodeling Industry Justin has seen, built & repaired virtually everything a home has to offer.  His knowledge of the construction industry allows him to understand how all individual components of your home work and interact with each other as a whole.

 

Celeste Gomez Higgins

Celeste has lived in Orlando for the past 6 years. She graduated from the University of Central Florida’s College of Health and Public Affairs in 2014 where she majored in Criminal Justice and Emergency Management. She’s had an interest in Real Estate since a young age due to both of her parents being long time Realtors in South Florida. She is now attending Rollins College in the evenings to work towards her Paralegal Certificate with an interest specifically in Real Estate Law.

Originally from Barranquilla, Colombia, Celeste is fluent in Spanish. She briefly lived in New York before coming to Florida. She has a customer service background having worked in the hospitality industry throughout Central Florida during her time at UCF, and utilizes this and her knowledge of Spanish to facilitate communication in various aspects of the leasing process.

Celeste enjoys taking her two dogs to the local farmers markets, telling “back in Colombia” stories, and exploring all that Central Florida has to offer in food and culture.

Lisa has lived in Florida for the past 20 years and has served the public through customer service professions.  Serving in the United States Navy as an administrator to the fleet, to being part owner of a fitness studio, serving as an instructor as well as a manager.  She graduated from Dean College with a degree in Human Services, and continues to apply her customer service skills as a leasing coordinator with The Realty Medics.   Her role is to ensure that future tenants have a positive and smooth transition into their new place of residence.

She is a Mom of three amazing kids, enjoys teaching fitness classes as well facilitating trainings for fitness professionals,  in her spare time.

Patti is a Florida native and has lived in Orlando for the past 13 years. She started working for an architectural company as an assistant project accountant. With the interest in Real Estate she accepted a contract working as a bookkeeper for a property management company. Once the contract was finished, she joined the Realty Medics in October 2014 as an Accounts Payable/Receivable Manager.

With her combined knowledge of association management and bookkeeping experience, she is able to manage tenant payments and HOA dues and membership. She values that communication is key to any business and follows through with owners and tenants. She currently holds two licenses; Community Association Manager and Real Estate Sales Associate.

In her spare time she likes to volunteer at the Orange County Animal Services and participates in various local charity events.

Bobby has lived in Orlando Florida since 2001. He graduated of the University of Central Florida’s College Of Business where he majored in Business Administration with a finance track. At UCF, Bobby was a member of the Economics Club, Young Investors Club and Real Estate Club. Bobby joined The Realty Medics in early 2015.

Bobby has been involved in real estate for a number of years and has an in-depth understanding of the residential property management and investor real estate business. He is a licensed Real Estate sales agent.

Bobby likes to play soccer and stay active in the community.

Originally from Seattle, WA, Joanna has recently relocated to the Orlando area. She graduated from the University of Washington with a Social Psychology degree focused in neural foundations of behavior as well as a minor in Law, Society, and Justice.

Before joining the realty medics, she has worked as an operations coordinator for the University of Washington in their recreational sports programs and aquatics departments. She has a developed background in customer service as a lifeguard and research assistant. As such, she has had the opportunity to work with patrons in recreation and patients in PTSD research. With a strong service attitude, and passion for safety and quality living, she is happy to work with you to maintaining your home in tip top condition.

Joanna enjoys being a tourist in her new city, soaking up the sun, enjoying different foods, and taking full advantage of all the nearby theme parks.

Trey has lived in Central Florida since 2007, and is currently attending UCF. He is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Starting off working under a General Contractor, Trey has gained valuable first-hand experience     in the process of rehabbing homes.

Ken was Born in Miami, and grew up in Naples FL. Played Football in high school and was an all-state musician. Kenny graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelors in Business Management, making it onto the Dean’s List his senior year. Ken has strong customer service skills after working several years in the hospitality industry. He recently gained a strong interest in  Real estate and is working on gaining his real estate license.

In his free time, Ken loves working around sports. Currently working part-time at the Orlando Magic and Trach Shack Events. Also, loves listening to music and hanging out with friends

Massimo is a native to Florida and was born and raised in the Fort Lauderdale area. He graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2017, majoring in Integrated Business.

 

Massimo has been involved on campus as a Treasurer for The Real Estate Club at UCF. He is a licensed Real Estate sales agent. He started with The Realty Medics in 2015 as a Leasing Coordinator and is excited to continue in the real estate industry working for the Sales Division of The Realty Medics.

Billy was born and raised in Winter Park, Florida. He played soccer all over the United States until college. Billy graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelors in Finance. Billy was a top commercial appraiser for a 40 year commercial real estate firm during his senior year and full time after he graduated. His appreciation for real estate grew as he gained real world knowledge on how all the different aspects of a property create value. Billy took his knowledge to the residential industry to work with The Realty Medics as an Inspection Manager.

On the weekends Billy likes to participate in water sports, riding his “Hog” through Winter Park and enjoys meeting new people by valeting at the Gaylord Lord Palms, one of the busiest hotels in Central Florida.

Delia Lozano

Delia was born and raised in Orlando Florida. She is currently a student at Valencia College pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts. Delia has strong customer service skills and is looking to expand her role and knowledge in management, accounting, and leading the marketing efforts for the leasing team.

I was born in Medellin, Colombia and came to the US at the age of 6. I have resided in East Orlando since 2004, went to University High School and graduated from Valencia College with an Associate’s Degree in General Education. While attending the University of Central Florida, I studied Interdisciplinary Studies in Business Administration, Art and Film.

During that period at UCF, I started working for a real estate team as an executive administration assistant. For two years, I worked in many areas of real estate doing marketing, database management, submitting all listing materials including MLS and overseeing all aspects of seller and buyer transactions from the initial contact to the executed purchase agreement.

Moreover, I would like to pursue a real estate license in the near future. On my free time, I like to stream new movies, catch up on my favorite tv shows, listen to music, or read a book. I love to dance, try new restaurants and travel.   I am fluent in Spanish and continue to practice it every day.
