Whether you’ve just moved and are looking for the best bars and restaurants in Orlando or want to get to know the area better, we’ve got you. Here’s a list of some of our favs:

Downtown Orlando

Mather’s Social Gathering

You’ll almost forget you’re in Florida in this historical speakeasy in downtown Orlando. Home of the first newspaper in Orlando, the building is over 140 years old. Mathers serves vintage cocktails and small bites in an upscale setting that requires a dress code to keep it classy.

The Vintage Speakeasy

For another historical experience, check out The Vintage Speakeasy in downtown Orlando. Featuring high-end cigars, tapas, hand-crafted cocktails, and the infamous Al Capone cocktails, The Vintage Speakeasy is true to the prohibition era: you’ll need the password to enter.

The Wellborn

If prohibition-era establishments aren’t your thing, try The Wellborn. Voted the best bar patio in Orlando Weekly, you’ll forget you’re in downtown Orlando surrounded by lush, charming gardens. The Wellborn features chef-driven craft cocktails, Floribbean bites, and weekend brunch in a laidback joint that’s been operating since 1940.

Hanson’s Shoe Repair

Possibly the oldest standing building in Orlando, Hanson’s Shoe Repair was the first electric sign in the city. Psst- hint, this isn’t really a shoe repair shop, but the vintage cocktails in this hidden speakeasy will cure what ails you. Don’t forget to check the daily password for entrance.

Jewel Orlando

Check out this dueling piano bar speakeasy right in downtown Orlando. Located in the Pirates Dinner Adventure Complex, this unique burlesque venue features live music, hand-crafted cocktails, and small bites. Jewel also sponsors a Charity of the Month to highlight local nonprofits doing amazing things.

New Smyrna Beach Area

Norwood’s Eatery and Bar Treehouse

Norwood’s carries on its namesake’s seafood legacy (which opened in 1946) while adding a modern flair. Dine in the treetops in the unique 1946 Restaurant or grab specialty cocktails at the Treehouse Bar or the Roots Bar (if you prefer to keep your feet on the ground).

Third Wave Cafe

Third Wave Cafe is a cozy spot with a garden patio that features gourmet coffee, sandwiches and pizzas in addition to global wines and craft beers. Third Wave Cafe serves a global menu with a local Florida flare.

The Blu Bar at The Garlic

The Blu Bar at The Garlic is a cozy experience that features the same Tuscan fare and rustic setting as the main restaurant, the Blu Bar boasts nightly live entertainment and a rustic wood burning fireplace. In addition to amazing food, you’ll find a comprehensive selection of fine wine, Italian beer, and specialty martinis.
